Things to Do
There’s always somewhere exciting to make memories here in Mount Royal. Connaught Park is one of the most prized and beautiful places in Mount Royal. The green space is located in the centre of town and boasts beautiful rose gardens, benches for nature watching, and walking paths. The Town has its own library, Reginald J. P. Dawson Library, a fun and wonderful place to bring kids for an education trip or activities on the weekends. Mount Royal Park has programs for both adults and children. Paddle a rowboat or rent a remote-controlled sailboat across Beaver Lake in the summer, and snowshoe or ice skate in the winter. Performing arts lovers can see a live show at Rialto Theatre, which was once a movie palace.
Westmount has several highly rated schools and educational facilities of note, including two secondary schools and three primary schools run by The Commission Scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSMB), two elementary schools run by The English Montreal School Board (EMSB), and Saint-Clément Academy.
